The World

The last place African-American Andre Thomas ever saw himself being was out farming in the middle of nowhere, married to his white high school sweetheart, raising a narcissistic son and an intellectually gifted daughter. And to make matters worse, his mother — who doesn’t exactly approve of his romantic partner — decides to show up and bunk with them.

After growing up in the big city, Andre must cope with his entirely new lifestyle in the country while raising a family and running a business. Can he maintain?

Target Audience

King of the Crop is a PG rated show with content and comedy directed towards adults, and families. With half of the main cast being teenagers in high school with the other two being adults, the shows content allows for a range of content appealing to both younger and older audiences.
